Battle of the Books Team Prepares for District Battle                              

Soldotna Prep’s Battle of the Books team will be battling with high schools in our district on February the second. The competition consists of each team competing against one or two other teams in four head to head challenges during the morning. Everyone in the district will be asked the same questions during these rounds and the points from the morning will decide who continues to the afternoon competitions to determine the KPBSD District winner. The team that wins the district competition will move on to the state battle on February 22nd.

The required twelve books have of a whopping total of 4,019 pages. Please make it a point to congratulate team members Hali Anderson-Currier and Kenny Asbell for being committed to the team since the beginning of the  school year and reaching their reading goals.
